Manchester United are on the move with a complex £100million deal to sign Real
Madrid's 25-year-old midfielder Gareth Bale - with David de Gea, 24,
heading to the Bernabeu. But according to another report, Real are ready to make a world-record bid for De Gea, with no Bale involvement. Meanwhile, United will attempt to renegotiate the £43m transfer
fee they agreed to pay Monaco for Radamel Falcao, 28, should they decide
to keep the striker beyond his season-long loan.
Real have already made it clear to United that they will pursue De Gea in the summer with the Old Trafford giants'
transfer negotiator Ed Woodward valuing the 24-year-old Spaniard at a
staggering £50m - which would be a world-record fee for a goalkeeper.
