Over 50 Die In Kano Bomb Blast

Over 50 persons are said to have died in the three explosions that rocked the Kano Central mosque during Juma’at prayers this afternoon. Sources at the emir’s palace say Emir of Kano Sanusi arrived Saudi Arabia last night from Kano.

It would be recalled that Sanusi recently advised that people should arm themselves against attack from the insurgents.
