Sometimes, just sometimes, it can be hard to get out of bed on a Monday morning.
The transition from weekend to weekday Takes some mental adjustment right? Well, for me it does. I put this feature for people like me out there. lol trust me it's not gonna bore you.
On SIB we give you Tips on Mondays (Monday tips) on how your Monday can be Better, less Hectic, stressless, and fun in the office or where ever that you go on Mondays to make ends meet. I will write in italic font at least to make it stylish, abi no be so?
1: Keep your self Organized. Take Sunday afternoon to get your personal items and stuff that you will be needing for Monday and the rest of the week ready. Is your outfit ironed and ready? Where is your work ID? Your Socks, Tie, Wallet etc etc. cliche? Most people don't.
2: Don't go to bed late. Why would you go to bed late when you have an early Monday morning, do you want to be a zombie in the office? Lol. Look, too much extra sleep on Sunday morning might keep you awake longer Sunday night, leaving you unrefreshed Monday morning. Do not sleep more than two hours past your average wake up time on a Sunday morning that's the secret.
3: Don't over feed on Sunday. Don't eat much on a Sunday. I know there's a lot of owambe, child dedication, wedding thanksgiving party etc etc to attend on Sundays but please eat less and drink less so you don't feel like a blottor, restless and blotted the next day.
4: Take a Shower every Sunday night. Yes a shower. This helps wash away all that you got into doing the weekend starting from the "....." to "..........." and to "#**#..." only you knows what you do during the weekend, haha. As you shower try reminiscing and shaking it off your head saying out loud " getting ready for MONDAY"!!! That gets you into the "am ready for the week"attitude.
5: When that Alarm that you set rings, it's advanced to set your alarm for Mondays an hour earlier. When it rings and your turning round and round from side to side searching for why you should actually obey, reach your phone, you can even do that with one eye closed, look through the Forbes list of the Richest people in the world, If your name is NOT there, My Friend, get UP and GO to WORK.
